June 12 to 22 @ Club SAW, 67 Nicholas St.
The Ottawa Fringe Festival returns for its 28th year, celebrating creativity, community, and inclusion with 58 companies presenting bold, original performances. As an uncurated, lottery-based festival, Fringe champions accessibility for artists by giving 100% of ticket revenue back to them. Yet, open access doesn’t guarantee true accessibility, which is why Associate Artistic Director Emma Ferrante curates the Community Series—free events designed to uplift underrepresented voices and foster local collaboration. Hosted at Club SAW’s lively Fringe Courtyard, the series also features food vendors, drink specials, and daily Happy Hours that bring people together through grassroots, community-driven programming.
