This year, the festival hub will be located in the Club SAW Courtyard at 67 Nicholas Street (attached to Arts Court at 2 Daly Avenue).

It’s the place to meet friends, catch a vibe and ask: “What have you seen? What should I see?”

An Ottawa School of Theatre Teen Acting Company performance.

Ghosts are haunting the woods of Ontario and Alice Wimbley – avid ghost hunter and disgruntled Tim Hortons employee – is going to prove it! Armed with her recorders and a crew consisting of her skeptical friend, her sardonic sister and her paranormally-inclined cousin, Alice boldly treks into the deep forest determined to get the spirits on tape.

It’s finally time to introduce Fringe to the kiddos in your life! Join us on the festival grounds, which will be bustling with street performers, vendors and a Drag Storytime* with Cyril Cinder and China Doll. Come spend Father’s day at the Fringe.

*Drag Storytime will have an ASL interpreter. If you require this service, email access@ottawafringe.com to reserve priority seating for access needs.

Fringe x Capital Pop-Up Cinema presents: The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Capital Pop-Up Cinema and Ottawa Fringe Festival invite you to a night of fun, frights, and fishnets!
This year, catch an outdoor screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show in the Saintlo hostel parking lot (right next to the Fringe Courtyard)!
We’re partnering with Capital Pop-Up Cinema and our neighbours Saintlo Ottawa Jail Hostel to curate a sensational night of film, friends and Fringe vibes.
Bring your camping chair, blankets and cozies – because it’s movie night!
What to Expect:
• Movie starts at dusk (around 8:30PM)!
• A historic venue with a fascinating past!
• Interactive viewing experience!
• Costumes encouraged!
• A pre-show from @broadwaynightsottawa!
• Open captions are provided!
• There will be no alcohol, but popcorn, candy and water will be available for purchase.

‘QiGong-idaa! (Let’s all Do Qi-Gong together!) ‘Gnabby Boomer, a family-friendly Clown from this old Earth, offers chance-chosen song-sized Qi Gong sessions. Please join, or not! Watch, or not! Honour your Agency! A seasonally-directed, culture-grounded method to support and sustain wellbeing it is being offered by this Clown as a trustworthy shared experience activity to do, alone or together. If you do what ‘Gnabby does-you will feel what you feel. Adapts for everybody and age.
