Join co-hosts Capital Pride and Ottawa Fringe for a night of Queer entertainment! The night will start off with Small Fish: a comedy and variety show by Glenys Marshall and Maggie Harder. Followed by How Queer!: a bilingual burlesque act hosted by Oliver Easy and Victoria Vermouth. This exciting event is part of both the undercurrents festival and winter pride.

Oliver Easy and Victoria Vermouth are a queer and non-binary touring burlesque duo based in Ottawa, Canada. Known for their gender bending duets and eye-catching innovative costumes, they are an instantly recognisable pair in the Ottawa performing arts industry. Oliver and Victoria co-produce Bytowne Cabaret and pride themselves on their dedication to promoting Francophone and queer burlesque in the National Capital Region. They have toured internationally and performed at large queer festivals like Fierce International Performing Arts Festival in the USA as well as across Canada.
Oliver Easy et Victoria Vermouth sont un duo queer et non-binaire basés à Ottawa, Canada. Reconnus pour leurs duos sur scène axés sur la fluidité de genre ainsi que leurs costumes innovateurs et flamboyants, ils sont une paire instantanément reconnaissable dans l’industrie de l’art-performance à Ottawa. Oliver et Victoria sont co-producteurs du Bytowne Cabaret et sont fièrement dévoués à la promotion et à la mise en valeur d’art-performance burlesque francophone et queer dans la région. Iels ont performé internationalement dans de larges festivals queers tel que Fierce! International Performing Arts Festival aux États-Unis ainsi qu’à travers le Canada.

Welcome to Small Fish, the top variety show for marginalized communities in Ottawa and beyond! Small Fish is a comedy duo made up of Maggie Harder (they/them) and Glenys Marshall (she/her). They run the 8X SOLD OUT variety show of the same name at Irene’s Pub, which highlights marginalized voices in Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal. They also host a monthly open mic at Haven, improv classes at Arts Court, and SOLD OUT The Mayfair Theatre with a huge NYE Bash to ring in 2024. With 20 years of combined comedy experience, you’re sure to come away with some giggles and two new fishy friends to boot!
