The Pleasant Meadows public library has a problem. Not only are literacy rates declining, but political pressures have been placing the beloved resource in the bullseye of protesters.
Content Notes
- Erotic poetry is saucy in nature, and can be a tad crude.
- There is abrupt loud noise, because sometimes, Emerson Lake can be a little loud with his noises, when he speaks.
- There is sexual content because Emerson’s poetry/stories have a crude nature to them and may reference sexual situations.

Rick’s Emerson Lake is irreverent, inspired, and as charmingly invasive as Knotweed. The audience of mostly women who attended the show I saw, laughed throughout. Delivered in rhyming couplets, with embedded advertising snippets, Lake’s erotic poetry reveals a slippery admirer of the salacious without boundaries.
