This city pigeon is on a mission to win back humans’ love for all pigeon-kind. Colum has created the perfect show for humans!
With a diet of trash, cigarettes, and naive optimism, she is ready for anything…except her first real audience. Could her observations of humans be slightly flawed? Using clown, dance, and pigeon facts, Colum will do what no pigeon has done before: bring sexy back!
Sarah was hilarious and was able to pull off a narrative advocating for both pigeons dignity and self-love. This show is a must see for pigeon lovers, nervous queers, and anyone who has ever used the term theatre kid.
It’s very easy to see why this piece sells out at pretty much every showing – the tale of Colum the Pigeon is funny, well-written and very well-acted. I was smiling from start to finish. A bonus was the hand-made merch that they screen print onto thrifted tees. In my opinion this one is definitely a contender for Best of Fest. Some comments say that the venue is hard to find, but I have to disagree – the signage couldn’t be clearer and it was easy to find despite being deep in the basement of Simard at uOttawa. Buy tickets ahead of time for this one!
LOOOOOOOVE THIS SHOW!!!!! Sarah is charming and erratic and effortlessly witty. Pigeons fear her, women want her.
Awesome avian art! Very funny, engaging and sweet.

See deep inside the psyche of pesky pigeons!
– Max of Rideau Street
A surprisingly meta and profound performance that everyone and anyone can relate to. From witty jokes to deep moments of self-reflection, Colum not only delivered as a great character, but also as very a wise pigeon.
Sarah’s ability to be vulnerable and share their passion with the audience made it such an engaging and fun show!
Colum, the titular pigeon will force you to confront your thoughts about her species.
Hate pigeons? This show is for you.
Love pigeons? This show is for you.
Ambivalent about pigeons? This show is *especially* for you.
Sprinkled with true historical pigeon facts, Colum’s story is actually a very human one of accepting oneself.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This one-woman, first-person defence of pigeonhood is hilarious, touching, and incredibly creative. I’m tempted to see it again, and again.
