Robin Hood: Outlaw. Adventurer. Icon. And, for one Fringe only, a Glove.
It’s got puppets. It’s got action. It’s got tax collecting. Cancel all other plans: this June, all you need is glove.

A wonderful little show, with the first standing ovation I’ve seen this festival.
A joke every 20 seconds, a thorough exploration of what you can do with four hands and a puppet stage, and a few memorable flourishes.
The kids in the front row had an absolute blast. I couldn’t see much (from the fourth row! it’s a problem!), but, honestly, not a bad radio play?
I’m not sure that pelting the audience with chocolate money is quite the right approach. Gently sprinkling the first few rows might be kinder.
Such a fun, clever show. So many great puns. Get there early and snag a seat up front.
This was absolutely delightful. Such wonderful actors with a lovely concept. Very fun, very cute, just over all a great show. I laughed A LOT!
I loved it! And I liked the bit with the storyteller glove puppet when they were wrestling.
And I loved that I got to be the horsey clomp.
I loved the chocolate coins.
I loved Robin Hood. Robin Hood was my favorite. I want to see it again. The End.
Not just an incredible show, but an incredible experience. The glove/hand pun-filled script is hilarious, the actors are incredibly energetic and quick-witted, and the glove puppets are made with so much creativity and love. But if all of these things aren’t already enough, in my performance, the cast took a mishap on stage and improvised it into an honest-to-goodness redemption arc for the characters. A huge amount of fun and magical stagecraft for the whole family!
Positively charming and totally hilarious. The puppet character bodies were creatively-made and well performed. Enough to make one forget that they are in fact, just gloves and not alive. This show embraces the goofiness of googly eyes, kazoos, and a loveably-unlovable narrator. I recommend seeing this show and sitting up front for the best view.
The medium is the message!!! So expressive, and takes full advantage of the gloves, the stage, the narrators etc. So glad I caught this! Would love to see more of these!
I was skeptical that this would work, but I am now fully convinced that Robin Hood can be entirely performed by gloves. The jokes fly at you a mile a minute. The performers are clearly enjoying themselves and their wit and energy is infectious.
