1. Fabulous, hilarious, intimate. Katie really gives it her all. Glamourpus, personal, with great songs and some unexpected truths. Opening night sold out, so get your tickets fast for this brand new one women show!

2. This show is a fun and well structured romp through the miseries and sweetness of dating. It’s fun, light, and includes some great musical spoofs and originals. Be prepared to both laugh and gasp continually.

3. Daring show! Had a great time – felt that the songs were all the same key/jingle and in general the show felt repetitive but perhaps that was the intent.

4. This is a great story about transformation and how our relationships with others – whether good or bad – help us grow into the person we’re meant to become. Katie does an amazing job telling her story! I found the blend of comedy, music, and well strucutred and emotional storytelling to be very compelling. I couldn’t help but get drawn into her story. I thuroghly enjoyed this show and would highly recommend it!!

5. Katie is a hilarious and entertaining performer with many stories to tell. I was laughing, gasping, and overall enthralled with what she had to say. This show has been selling out, so you’ll wanna make sure you get a chance to see it.

6. I was expecting something fun with a bit of drama thrown in, but instead the show sinply starts with unhealthy traumatic relationships and then just keeps piling them on. She ends the show by throwing in a few rapid-fire experiences of sexual assault without warning. Would have preferred a content note to be included.

7. It’s no wonder Katie sells out her international tours; she’s a born entertainer. I loved this piece’s honesty and its commitment to telling the truth, no matter how unflattering that might be. Katie is beautiful, charming, and funny…and turns her history of bad decisions into a great opportunity for each audience member to reflect on their own choices.

   I just had to laugh out loud at another audience member’s off-base comment about having preconceived expectations for the show’s tone. If one pays attention to the written description, it’s clear that this isn’t some generic, cookie-cutter “here are a few jazz standards” cabaret that a performing arts center would book for a slow night. It’s a carefully written, emotionally intimate theater piece.

   Real life in the real world isn’t necessarily family friendly, so audience members with severe sensitivity to certain content should be responsible for making use of the transcript resources hosted by the accessibility team.

8. Katie is an incredible performer. The writing is punchy, and the gossip scandalous. She has this great, playful demeanour with the audience. She reveals some wild stories with bravery and vulnerability.

   The songs are seamlessly integrated into the whole show. You will be captivated from beginning to end. The ending moments of the play are powerful. So grateful Katie chose to share this show with Canada after so many Canadian men broke her heart.
