When two complete strangers are placed in a societal experiment designed for them to build a connection and be vulnerable to one another, things get physically and emotionally intense.
Welcome to the experiment of truth, vulnerability, and blind trust. While the participants may have opposite views, they have the same intention, to get out. What stops them? Getting out is dependent on one another.
Everything down to the staging of this show is impeccably cohesive. The skill and performance is one to be applauded but the passion is one to be remembered. This is a must see!
I left the theatre just in awe of the performances and writing of the show! I couldn’t stop talking about it. This is a MUST see and I can’t wait to see what this group does next. I was so impressed!!!
very well made! It really pays off at the end ;)
Have seen this show twice now and it blew me away both times. The actors did a phenomenal job and the use of the mic was so cool. Also loved the ending – amazing concept. Would recommend!!!
I absolutely loved this show! The writing, the acting, the plot. Everything was so well done. Such an incredible performance from the actors and amazing work from the crew. I love when there is some sort of audience interaction so giving the audience the chance to vote was very interesting. I definitely recommend watching this if you haven’t yet!
I really enjoyed this play and I hope the group can take it further and show it at new venues. A couple of thoughts:
Great performances from both actors. I think Nick could tone down the volume at times, when it is always the same it loses its power, can become a bit monotonous and can overwhelm the stage/other actors. The depth and resignation he expressed at the end revealed his depth as an actor. Maybe just a little more variation throughout. At the same time I understand his character is really frustrated at being jailed in the experiment, perhaps even more so because he doesn’t want to face his demons.
Also, if the characters can’t see eachother, maybe a screen between them would illustrate the fact they are in separate cells and emphasize their isolation.
Really enjoyable and interesting, and well put together.
