What do sex and Excel have in common? How would you rate your love life? What the hell could a 24-year-old know about dating? Being only halfway through her 20s, Danitza has seen enough. 4.5 Stars explores the good, the bad, the ugly parts of dating, Danitza’s obsession with rom coms, and – her incredibly detailed but never publicly shared – sex spreadsheet.
This show was SO genuine, SO well-told, and to a hopeless romantic, so needed. Danitza finds her way into everyone’s heart by the end- and the FIT????????? Girl I’m obsessed 5/5
4.5 Stars was a heartfelt, funny, and refreshingly honest look at the search for love. Through humor, vulnerability, and relatable storytelling, Danitza took us on a journey of hope, self-discovery, and the courage it takes to keep putting yourself out there, even when love doesn’t arrive as you hope.
A delightful Fringe experience that will leave you laughing, reflecting, and maybe even believing a little more in taking chances on love. Highly recommended! ❤️
My Queena you were so awesome!! We went to Canada to see her play(show), the one she WROTE and preformed. What a surprise it was; nothing like what I expected!! It was so awesome!!!!!! You were so professional!! You had the audience interacting too!! I’m so proud of you!! Keep going!!!! Love your performance!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this show! It was funny, relatable and quite frankly; amazing! Danitza’s infectious personality takes us on a well documented journey through her hilariously inadequate dating life! I found myself laughing throughout the entire show! Men and women alike will find themselves hanging on every story wanting to hear more. This is a must see show! Although this show is comically titled 4.5 stars, I unequivocally give 5 stars! There are many great shows at Fringe; this one ranks as one of my favs! Congratulations Danitza on your absolutely fantastic premier! ♥️
There have been ¡so! ¡many! Fringe shows which catalogue a performer’s wacky romantic and sexual foibles. So, why see this one?
The spreadsheet angle is interesting enough, especially when Danitza Piper transforms it into a device.
But what really makes her show stand out is her philosophy. In the retelling, she’s not some unfortunate normie beset by over-the-top, easy-punchline caricatures: she’s somebody on a far more specific and vulnerable journey.
It’s still very funny, of course. It’s also an expression of a philosophy rather than just a string of dishy stories. And that propels it to the front of a very crowded pack.
Funny, tender, reaching out to the nerds that structure their life with a spreadsheet but also want to jump into the world and let their heart go. “Get your hands dirty” and enjoy the show !
Questionable life choices can make good stories and Danitza Piper takes a darkly humorous look at her dating experiences, and she’s even organized them into a spreadsheet. The result is edgy, sexy, and poignant. Her love life might be a hot mess but Piper had full control of her performance. She captivated the audience and drew them along with her in her journey. This is an artist to watch.
