My favourite show at the Fringe so far. Funny as hell until the sadness sneaks up on you. Made me think of what people ‘want’ from theatre, how it risks becoming a ‘thanking circle’, and how to laugh when we’re all kinda furious all of the time. Might have to come again.
Remarkable concept and performance. 10/10
This show is horrifyingly funny. I have never seen a performer interact so effortlessly with audience members and look so at place on stage. Leslie makes every bit seem merely coincidental and accidental even thought you know every minute is meticulously planned. Great show.
We drove 5.5 hours to see Leslie’s show in Ottawa and let me tell you it was SO WORTH IT. Leslie has created a captivating, hilarious, and truly unique experience you don’t want to miss. From absurd physical comedy to genuine thought provoking moments, Leslie’s heart and creativity is on full display and is easily one of the most exciting artists performing on stage right now. This show is what fringe is all about!
This show is something really special that you don’t want to miss. Tons of laughs with a mega message. And the BEST use of Leslie Cserepy’s incredible giant smile.
