Dear friends and patrons
With the 2018 Ottawa Fringe Festival set to start this week, the Fringe’s Board of Directors would like to publicly reaffirm the organization’s belief in providing a safe and inclusive space for our festival’s audiences, volunteers, artists, and staff.
The Ottawa Fringe has recently adopted a new Anti-Harassment, Anti-Violence, and Anti-Discrimination policy. We are committed to providing an environment free of discrimination, violence and harassment, where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity, can contribute fully and have equal opportunities. The full policy is available on our website, and applies to everyone who attends Fringe activities or spaces, including staff and employees, patrons, volunteers, and artists.
We thank everyone for their support of Fringe over the past 22 years, and look forward to seeing as many of the 2018 festival’s 56 productions as we can.
Happy Fringing!
