Fringe Round Up – June 22, 2012

It’s the last weekend of Fringe – time is running out to see everything you’ve been trying to squeeze in all week.  Head over to our Reviews section for a listing festival reviews, or keep reading to see what else the Internet is saying about Fringe…

CBC Ottawa continues to archive their Fringe coverage over on their Community page. Listen to interviews, Fringe postcards, and more.

While she missed the first few days of the festival, Nadine Thornhill gives her recommendations for Fringe, and talks about how great she thinks the Courtyard is. She’ll keep blogging through the end of the festival, so keep checking back!

Kevin Reid’s Fringe COMA continues over at The Visitorium, as he recaps his week at Fringe so far (with more to come). His reviewers are also still out – read up on what Team Visitorium has seen so far.

Wayne Current has written his first Postcard from the Fringe. He promises more. Looking forward to them, Wayne!

Fringe performer (though not in this year’s festival) Celeste Sansregret writes about her experience as an audience member at this year’s festival

Lawrence Aronovitch writes about what happens when an actor gets sick. (answer: the show must go on!)

Xtra.ca writes about The Bullying Monologues, and how they tie into Troupe de la Lune’s production of Ex Cathedra.

Julie Laurin attended her first ever Fringe a few days ago. Read what she thought of it.

The last word again goes to Production Ottawa, who have recaps of their days four and five at the festival. They’ve also started doing written reviews, which can all be found on their 2012 Fringe page.

Did I miss anything? Are you writing about Fringe and would like to be mentioned in the next Fringe Round Up? Leave a comment and I’ll be sure you aren’t left out next time!

  1. Our CCC reviewers are still out going strong. Latest posts are Wanderlust, Pickin N,Schtick, White Noise, The Fat Guy Show, Little Lady …lots more coming this weekend. We hope to finally see Tis a Pity She’s a Whore but its always sold out. Good for them. The general quality seems to be getting better and better and in any case much better this year than last year,
WE have written over 40 reviews now and more are coming…
