Curatorial Statement

Racialized Queer lives have long shaped the undercurrents of society, influencing and molding its culture, often from the margins. In this body of work, we explore the beauty and strength found in these unseen forces, highlighting the quiet power that has always been at the heart of transformation and resistance. Through this exhibition, we invite audiences to witness the subtle, yet profound impact of queer existence on the world around us. We have curated this exhibit to platform not just artists but community builders getting their hands dirty to change the direction of society’s waves.

Featuring: Aly Mc Donald, DJ Gothbitch & Starr Carter

Our vernissage will feature a 30 minute talk back featuring artists and curators.

Exhibit located in the Atelier Theatre space, Arts Court.
