And in these mines, with Goldie and Tumble guiding you, you will find laughter, love and g-g-g-ghosts?!? Bring a flashlight (literally) because in this fantasy clown show we turn the lights off and leave the lighting to the audience.

Dwarves and Dark Places is a clown show for fantasy lovers of all ages. Fans of Dungeons & Dragons, Lord of the Rings, World of Warcraft, etc, will love this epic and hilarious story. As the Dwarven heroes explore haunted mines the lights are kept off. Audiences are encouraged to bring and use flashlights wherever and whenever they wish, this creates a unique, immersive performance. The show will have you laughing, crying, and laughing until you cry.

Owlbear Theatre was founded in 2025 by Ian McMullen and Sarah McKay. The company’s mandate is to tell fantasy stories using highly visual forms of theatre. Owlbear brings together aspects of clown, stage combat, and dance to create a unique and exciting style of physical theatre.
