Last weekend to Fringe
Happy Friday! Now be honest: how many of you took today, so you could rest up for the final weekend of Fringe? Of course, if you were truly clever you would take Monday off as well. The closing party on Sunday night is going to go late into the night…
Despite the threat of rain the Courtyard was full for our annual karaoke night, and so were the theatres. I was at a packed performance of Space Mystery… from OUTERSPACE, and my spies tell me ‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore, Little Orange Man, Wanderlust, and Wolves > Boys were all very full as well.
Make sure you come out to the Courtyard at 10:00 pm tonight for Chats with Cat (though without Cat this evening… so it’s boys night with co-hosts Patrick Gauthier and Brad MacNeil) when the BEST IN FEST winners will be announced. Each of the four Best in Fest shows will receive an extra performance on Sunday night at 9:00 pm – just before our closing ceremonies.
Are you looking for reviews before heading out for the final weekend? Head over to our Reviews page where we’ve got links to reviews of every show in the festival (no joke).
Parents: this is you daily Mini Fringers reminder. Ditch the kids and see some shows, howabout?
And before I go, Fringe photographer Andrew Alexander set up in Academic Hall the other day, and captured this time lapse of White Noise, Fallen: The Book of Samael, and Hard Times. Three shows in sixty seconds…
Happy Friday! Go see some shows tonight!
(PS – big thanks to thanks to Mike Geiger for the photo of Little Orange Man)
