They’ll explore how moms get misrepresented when other people tell their stories, from the Bible to 90’s sitcoms to the Momfluencers of TikTok. With a little help from the audience, circle time sock puppets, and maybe even God?, they’ll prove that moms are funny, not just the punchline.

  1. Imagine! A Fringe show which poses a serious, fascinating, and legitimate question, and then actually answers it!

Christina Muehlberger and Lauren Cauchy are hilarious and insightful in this journey through sitcom moms, biblical moms, social media moms, and others, en route to a destination yet uncharted: the mom joke.

Their work is so compelling that they had an audience member inspired to get up on stage and do a mom joke of her very own — and she killed it! Hopefully you’ll be so lucky when you see it.

  2. Loved it.
Brought back many memories of my two, when I was a SAHD.
The jokes and stories were spot-on.

  3. Honest, thoughtful, funny and they have snacks! Plus surprise puppets!!

  4. “If you don’t laugh, you’ll cry.” Anyone who has been a mom will relate to the demand for relentless energy, enthusiasm, caring, while staying on top of the household and desperately needing to pee. Oh my god, I need a glass of wine. I’m writing this from the grandparent perspective and I feel for you. Keep fighting the good fight Christina Muehlberger and Lauren Cauchy. Side note: I saw you both in the Saw courtyard with your kids: you’re great moms. You’ve got this.

  5. What a wonderful and funny show! Hilarious people and amazing energy. As a man in the front row I felt exactly the right level of intimidated and entertained!

  6. THIS SHOW HAD US CACKLING. Absolutely my favourite from the fest this year. Can’t wait to see what other gems these ladies come up with next!!! Need more!
