Diving deep into Europe’s buried queer and feminist history, Ludwig(a) is a fictional take on the friendship between a teenaged King and Empress. Ludwig has fallen for the famed composer and womanizer Richard Wagner and is now turning his castle into a shrine for the much older man. Elisabeth has just gotten married and given birth to her first child shortly after her sweet sixteen. Teenage dreams and drag queens set in 19th C Bavaria!

There are approximately 14 stairs leading up to the venue, but a wheelchair lift is also available for use. If you require use of the lift please notify a Fringe volunteer upon arrival, as venue staff are required to operate the lift. When possible, please try to arrive a few minutes early in case the lift is in use upon arrival.
