I saw this show in Nova Scotia a couple weeks ago and I wanted to write how incredibly heartwarming, touching it is. It’s also very funny. John is a consummate actor and writer.
I highly recommend this show to anyone that is dealing with or has dealt with dementia and alzheimer’s. You are not alone. This show is lovely reminder of that.
Jon,
First, I wanted to tell you that my friend Marian and I both shed tears at the end of your June 18 show. Thank you for a very moving and beautiful performance.
Second, please publish the link to the website that contains all the additional material you wrote about support for Alzheimer patients and their families, about the inadequate funding of long term care homes, etc.
I also suggest you post the code to this material outside your venue, so people can scan it while waiting to be admitted (as they do at the National Arts Centre).
Cheers!
