Countdown to Fringe: 2 Days

Only two days to Fringe!

If you pop by Arts Court today (in the rain – hopefully the last rain until June 25…) you’ll see Fringe staff and volunteers setting up the Fringe Courtyard. Frequent Fringers are very familiar with the Courtyard (maybe a bit too familiar), but first-timers may not know that the Courtyard serves as the Fringe Festival hub. Located on the corner of Waller Street and Daly Avenue, it’s the place to relax between shows, grab a drink and some food, hear what shows to see and not to see, and share in all the Fringe gossip.

The Courtyard features free WiFi (great for nerds like me), food by Bohemian Kitchen (with all items available for $6 or less), and a great line up of special events, including (but not limited to):

• June 13 – 2012 Ottawa Fringe Festival Kick off party
• June 16 – Prom Night
• June 21 – Karaoke
• June 23 – Burlesque Night
• June 24 – Closing Ceremonies

The Courtyard is also home to our nightly talk show, Chats with Cat, bringing you interviews, contests, and live Fringe previews every night at 10:00 pm.
